CHESTNUT — Linda K. Overbey, 73, of Chestnut, Ill., passed away at 2:16 p.m. on December 4, 2017, at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln, Ill.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Greg Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at McClimans Cemetery, Hallsville, Ill. Visitation will be held from 10–11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Linda was born on September 24, 1944, in Mount Pulaski, Ill., the daughter of Irwin George and Mary Louise (Allison) Grathwohl. She married Thomas L. Overbey on July 3, 1964, in Clinton.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas L. Overbey, Chestnut; two children, Tommy Overbey, Alton, Ill., and John (Jenni) Overbey, Hallsville; two granddaughters, Katie and Bethany Overbey, Clinton; siblings, Pat Burman, Forsyth, Mo., and Ruth Ann (Jim) Frye, Kenney.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
