CLINTON — Lois L. West, 94, of Clinton, passed away at 2:26 p.m. on January 20, 2022, at Manor Court Clinton.
Private graveside services will be conducted at Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton, with Autumn Owen officiating. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Clinton Assembly of God Church.
Lois was born on April 7, 1927, in Decatur, the daughter of Ralph K. and Bessie (Gray) Slayback. She married Fenaly H. West on June 30, 1944, in Decatur. He passed away on June 28, 2006.
Survivors include her children, Michael West, Clinton; Tamera (Michael) Thurston, Independence, Mo.; three grandchildren, Autumn (Scott) Owen, Champaign; Garrett (Erika) West, Springfield; Lance West, DeBary, Fla., and three great-grandchildren, Scotty Owen; Matthew West; and Lauren West.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents, one sister.
Lois was a member of the Clinton Assembly of God Church and served the Lord her entire life. She enjoyed art, needlepoint, and collecting antique hair combs.
