VILLA PARK, Calif. — Lou Ceil Gordon, 93, formerly of Clinton, Ill., passed away on March 12, 2017, in Villa Park, Calif..  A celebraton of life with her family will take place on her birthday in August in Fullerton, Calif.

She was youngest child of Robert E and Anna (Pringle) Kimmons, born on Aug 6, 1923,  in Ash Grove Mo.  Siblings include, Rex, Lee (Louise), Jack (Jill), Joe (Marge), and Bea Thrasher.  She married Jodie Buntin in Clinton on February 14, 1945.  He died 1961.  She later married G.B. Gordon in Long Beach Calif., Jan. 23, 1965.  He died in 1992.

Survivors include daughters,  Bonny (Bruce) Cooper, Clinton, Jill (Jim) Hull, Clinton, Vicki Ann Gayton, Calif.  Grandchildren and great-grandchildren,  Matt (Brooke) Cooper - Owen, Fletcher, Jaxon, Wrigley, Clinton;  Betsy (Travis) Hoffman – Cole, Zion, Riah, Clinton; Michael (Megan) Cooper – Aubrey, Aurora, Nev.;  Paul (Jennifer) Gaudino – Paul, Nickolas, Pa.;  Shae (Bill) Tarka - Braden, Reese, Ryah, Calif..  Special family David Lemons. 

She received her RN from Evangelical Deconess School of Nursing, Lincoln, Ill. and BSN from U of C at Long Beach, Calif.  She worked as a nurse during WWII and later at Dr. John Warner Hospital.  Other jobs included  interior designer, real estate, and lastly, teaching missionary first aid at Pacific Christian College.  She was very active in her church and most of all was a servant to the Lord, James was her favorite book.
