CLINTON — Lou Emma (Roberts) Burton, 95, of Clinton, formerly of Nancy, Ky., passed away at 5:20 a.m. on February 1, 2019, at her family residence, Clinton.
Graveside Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Farview Cemetery, Nancy, Ky. Visitation will be held from 10–noon on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton.
Memorials may be directed to the Okalona Baptist Church, Nancy, Ky.
Emma was born on May 16, 1923 in Norfleet, Ky., the daughter of Elmer and Mary Catherine (Daulton) Roberts. She married Winfield Burton on March 20, 1941. He passed away on October 27, 2005.
Survivors include her son, Thurman W. (Sandy) Burton, Batesville, Ark.; daughter, Evelyn (Woody) Wilson, Clinton; seven grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Shirley Mae Burton; three brothers; five sisters.
Emma was a homemaker and retired after 20 years from Better Coils, in Goodland, Ind. She was a member of the Okalona Baptist Church in Nancy, Ky.
