CLINTON — Lynda K. Ledbetter, 80, of Clinton, passed away at 12:16 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at HCR Manor Care, in Bloomington.
A memorial service for Lynda will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Clinton First Church of the Nazarene, in Clinton. Dr. Michael A Taylor will officiate.
Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Lynda Kay Saylor was born on June 16, 1937, in Paxton, Ill., the daughter of Delbert and Bessie Hinkle Saylor. She married Bill Ledbetter. He preceded her in death.
Lynda is survived by her children: Robert Gegan, William (Barb) Gegan, Debra (Richard) Gegan Douglas and Cynthia Gegan; six grandchildren, Nathan (Shana) Douglas, Breanna (Neil) Whitted, Rikka (Shawn) Woods, Jessica McMinn, Casey McMinn, and Derek Kowalski; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Beverly Krivich and one great-grandchild.
Lynda was a member of Clinton First Church of the Nazarene. She had worked as a waitress and hotel housekeeper.
Memorials may be made to Clinton First Church of the Nazarene, OSF Hospice, Clinton Friends in Action (Friendship Center), or American Cancer Society.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home, of Atlanta.
