CLINTON — Marco “Terry” Power, age 40, passed away on July 18, 2019, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, in St. Louis, after a long illness.

He was born on July 18, 1979, in Springfield Ill.  He spent his childhood in Petersburg, and later moved to Lincoln.  Most recently, he lived in Clinton and was employed by Cleary Building Corp.

Terry loved his family, was especially proud of his sons, and wanted so much for them in life.  He was a workaholic and a perfectionist in any task that he was performing.  In 2017 and 2018 he completed coursework in Construction I & II Certification with academic honors through Lake Land College in Mattoon Ill.

He was a kind, caring, and humble man who most often put his own needs aside in order to do for others.  He was most looking forward to returning home and spending time with his sons.

Surviving are his father, Terry L. (Sherrie) Power of Petersburg; mother, Sherry (Jim deceased) Wright, of Clinton; wife Rachel; two sons: Marco D and Urijah J Power, of Lincoln; two brothers; Eric L. Power, of Lincoln, and Adam L. Power, of Petersburg; one niece: Julie Power; mother-in-law, Diane; aunts, uncles and cousins.  He and his wife Rachel had no children together.

Cremation rites have been accorded.  A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
