TREMONT, Ill. — Marion “Dick” Miller, 78, of Tremont, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Aperion Care Morton Villa.
He was born on September 6, 1943, in Bloomington, to Raymond and Josie Miller. He married Cindy Ritchie on May 2, 1986, and she survives.
Also surviving are children, Jason (Ashley) Miller and Jillyn (Jesse Deakin) Miller, both of Tremont; Jeff, Sherry Jones; Debbie Moore, of Indiana; Penny McGillem, and four grandchildren, Serenity, Gage, Wyatt, and Jayley.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ronald and Kenneth, and one sister, Doris Bush.
Dick served in the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964.
He was a member of Tremont Apostolic Christian Church and enjoyed drawing, fishing, and working on cars.
His funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Davis-Oswald Funeral Home, in Tremont. Ministers of the church will officiate.
Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Apostolic Christian Cemetery, in Tremont.
