MACON — On Good Friday, April 14, the Maroons junior varsity (JV) team was not part of the home festivities, but traveled to Meridian (Macon, Ill.).
The team did share in Clinton’s winning ways on this day. The Maroons drew first blood in the second inning with 3 runs. No one scored for a couple more innings until the Maroons scored in the fifth inning to cap the score and a Maroon win, 4-0.
The pitch for the Maroons was split between Drew Stacy, who started and pitched 5.1 innings and reliever Michael Oswald, who came on the pitch 1.2 innings.
