DEWITT — Martha M. Waldron, 96, of DeWitt, Ill., passed away at 8:50 a.m. on October 9, 2017, at her family residence, DeWitt.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Rev. Jeff DeLaughter officiating. Burial will follow at DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt. Visitation will be held from 10–11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.

Martha was born on December 4, 1920, in DeWitt, the daughter of Everett and Lena (Dowell) Clymer. She married Arthur “Buck” Waldron on February 9, 1940, in East St. Louis, Ill. He passed away on September 13, 1974.
Survivors include her daughters, Nancy Dyer, Clinton, and Penny Pasqualucci, Bloomington, Ill.; grandchildren, Phillip Dyer, Clinton, Jennifer (Ryan) Benson, Clinton, Amber (Gerald) Rucker, Minot, N.D., and Briana (Rodney) Bolton, Rapid City, S.D.; four great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jerry Waldron, five brothers and three sisters.
Martha was a postmaster for 31 years at the DeWitt Post Office. She loved flowers, gardening, quilting and animals.
