CLINTON — Mary Kay Jackson, 65, of Clinton, left this earth at 7 p.m. on March 25, 2017, at Aperion Care, Bloomington, ll., surrounded by family and friends.
Per her request, no services will be held. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, assisted the family with cremation rites. To honor her memory, a celebration of life will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at the American Legion, 219 N. Elizabeth St. Clinton. Lunch will be provided.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor’s choice.
Mary was born on March 16, 1952, in Clinton, the daughter of John and Juanita (Covey) Cox.
Survivors include her daughter, Shawn (Kenneth) Rybolt, Bloomington, Ill,; son, Chad Cunningham, Clinton; brother, Steve (Kathy) Cox, Chester, Va. and her longtime partner,Dale Johnson, Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mary was a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 30 years. She truly loved her job and taking care of others. In her spare time she enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time outdoors.
