CLINTON — Mary Louella Lane, 82, of Clinton, passed away at 7:10 a.m. on November 27, 2017, at Manor Court, Clinton.
Visitation will be held from 10–11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton.
Memorials may be directed to the Vespasian Warner Public Library or the DeWitt County Animal Shelter.
Mary was born on December 9, 1934, in Clinton, the daughter of Virgil and Lorine (Anderson) DuPree. She married John Corwin Lane on March 27, 1955, in Clinton. He passed away on October 2, 2002.
Survivors include her children, Tom Lane, Clinton, Nancy Lane, Clinton, and her manpanion of 15 years, Mike Jordan, Decatur, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Mary worked at the Vespasian Warner Public Library. She loved reading, golfing and bird watching. She also enjoyed traveling and Illini Basketball.
