Museum’s ‘Quilted Keepsakes’ runs June 1-30

CLINTON — The DeWitt County Museum Association announces the annual “Quilted Keepsakes” quilt show will take place June 1-30 at the C.H. Moore Homestead DeWitt County Museum, 219 E. Woodlawn, Clinton. 

The numerous quilts exhibited throughout the fully furnished Victorian mansion will include select examples from the museum collection as well as antique, vintage and contemporary pieces loaned from private collections and quilters.

Anyone interested in loaning a quilt not loaned previously for inclusion in the Quilted Keepsakes quilt show is encouraged to contact the museum to make arrangements.

The quilts can be viewed during regular museum and gift shop hours, Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and 1-5 p.m. on Sundays. 

Admission, which includes the house tour, quilt show, carriage barn, farm museum, covered bridge, gardens and grounds, is $5 for adults, $2 for ages 12-18 and ages 11 and under free.  DeWitt County Museum Association members are also admitted at no charge.
