CLINTON — Nancy C. (Williamson) Prather, 81, Clinton, passed away at 4:35 a.m. on September 18, 2018, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Ill.
Services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 22, at the Clinton United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Randy Myers officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, September 21, at the church. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home with arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Clinton United Methodist Church, Illinois Foundation FFA or DeWitt County 4-H Foundation.
Nancy was born on March 24, 1937, in Olney, Ill., the daughter of Thurl J. and Mabel Cleo (Wilson) Williamson. She married Donald R. Prather on April 20, 1958, in Olney.
Survivors include her husband, Donald R. Prather, Clinton; children, Teresa (Jeff) Bivin, Cary, Ill.; Lisa Robbins, Decatur; Bradley Prather, Clinton, and granddaughter, Kayla Bivin.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.
Nancy was a teacher’s aide for the Clinton School District for several years. She was a member of the Clinton United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir and playing hand bells. She also was an avid seamstress.
