Nominations being accepted for CHS 'Wall of Honor'

CLINTON — Nominations are now being accepted for the CHS Wall of Honor.  All nominees must be CHS Alumni; additional qualifications are listed below. Nomination forms may be obtained on the Clinton Schools website under the High School tab or by contacting Beth Pine in the High School Office at 935-8337 ext 1001 or bpine@cusd15.org. Nominations are due in the HS office no later than October 12, 2018, and inductees will be honored at the home basketball game on January 18, 2019.

All Nominees that are not chosen, will be kept on file for 5 years. If not chosen after 5 years, they will need to be re-nominated to be considered for the Wall of Honor.

Qualifications for nominees to the Wall of Honor

 

All nominees must be a CHS alumni, then it is open to any athlete, student with academic honors, team, or any club that has attained statewide recognition. 

 

Any athlete/student who finishes first in a state meet shall be automatically nominated to the selection committee.

Any CCHS varsity team with an undefeated regular season shall be automatically nominated to the selection committee.

A CCHS team/club shall be considered for nomination if it has attained outstanding record status or state recognition.

Outstanding athletes of CCHS who have brought honor or fame to the Clinton community by their athletic achievements at the High School, Collegiate, or professional level.

Any athlete/student of CCHS who has achieved great success in their distinguished career that brings honor and recognition to CCHS or the Clinton Community.

Any CHS alumni who have made significant contributions or given meritorious service to the programs at CCHS: may include coaches, administrators, and friends of the program.

Valedictorians or Salutatorian of their class.

 Distinguished governmental service, either state or federal by a CHS Alumni

Any CCHS alumni, who, in their service to our country, be it Military, Law Enforcement or the Fire Service, dies in the line of duty.

 

 

 

THERE IS A TEN YEAR WAITING PERIOD FOR ATHLETES/STUDENTS OR TEAMS TO QUALIFY FOR ELIGIBILITY
