CLINTON — Norma L. Short, 90, of Clinton, passed away at 9:11 p.m. on June 25, 2019, at her family residence, Clinton.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Burial will follow at Mausoleum Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 10–11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association.
Norma was born on October 26, 1928, in Chestnut, Ill., the daughter of Perry G. and Mabel (Walter) Clary. She married Ira Wayne Short on November 24, 1949, in New Port, Ark. He passed away on July 8, 2002.
Survivors include her children, David (Josephine) Short, Bloomington; Linda (David) Buchanan, Clinton, 10 grandchildren, five great -grandchildren, one great-great grandson, and one sister, Martha Bailey, Farmer City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Gary and Ricky, three brothers, and three sisters.
