CLINTON — City crews are working to finish picking up brush from the recent winter storms, and commissioner Ken Buchanan encourages residents to get their downed branches out to the streets so crews can complete the job.
“We’re going to still keep picking up brush for about another week and a half,” Buchanan said. “We need to get the brush out so we can get it picked up. We’ve got a lot of other things we’ve got to do.”
Buchanan also reminded residents they can transport branches themselves to the city yard waste facility. He said the facility would have extended hours for the next week and a half to until 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The facility also is open on Saturdays from 8 a.m.-noon and from 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
