CLINTON — Santa and Mrs. Claus will greet visitors at the “Old Fashion Christmas” event Dec. 18 at Weldon Springs State Park.
The Christmas party, hosted by the Weldon Springs State Park Foundation, will be held from 1-3 p.m. at the Union Schoolhouse at the park.
Children can make a craft ornament, enjoy cookies and cocoa and listen to holiday music by the Clinton Uke group.
New Weldon Springs t-shirts and other merchandise will be available for sale, with proceeds benefitting foundation projects.
The Union Schoolhouse and Texas Township Hall Nature Center provide educational opportunities to children and families interested in the wonders of the outdoors. The Weldon Springs State Park Foundation is a nonprofit organization that supports the educational and recreational opportunities of the state park.
