DEWITT — Pansy Ida Olive Carter, 81, of DeWitt, passed away at 6:55 p.m. on July 23, 2019, at Farmer City Rehab, Farmer City.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Monday July 29, 2019, at the DeWitt Cemetery, DeWitt, with the Rev. Jeff DeLaughter officiating. There will be no visitation. Calvert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to donor’s choice.
Pansy was born on April 29, 1938, in Memphis, Mo., the daughter of Willis and Thursday (Rockhold) Clark. She married Lloyd E. Carter on July 9, 1955, in Clinton. He passed away on November 9, 2006.
Survivors include her children, Cheryl (John) Bolby, Bloomington; Dennis Carter, Weldon; three grandchildren; one sister; and brother-in-law, Delbert Jones, DeWitt.
Pansy was preceded in death by her Parents, 2 Daughters, Phyllis Jeannine and Karen Colleen.
Pansy formerly worked at the Clothes Closet, in Farmer City. She collected Indian dolls, enjoyed gardening and antique shopping.
