CLINTON — Patrick Brian Riggs, 43, Clinton, passed away on Thursday October 26, 2023, at Decatur Memorial Hospital (DMH).

Patrick died peacefully surrounded by family.

Patrick was on born September 7, 1980, in Bloomington, to Randall C Riggs and Karen J Duvall.

Surviving are his father, mother, sister, Tonia (Darren) Pleines, brothers, Kyle Riggs Colt, Danison, Cody Danison, five nieces, four nephews, one great-nephew and many cousins.

He was preceded by his paternal and maternal grandparents, two aunts, one uncle and four cousins.

He loved all sports, especially the Chicago Cubs and Bears, and all music.

Patrick was a bright light that shined on everyone he met. Patrick was loved by family and friends.

Family would like to express a special thank you to all the doctors and nurses in the ICU at DMH.

A celebration of Patrick’s life will be held at a later date.
