CLINTON — Paul Edward Fabris, 84, of Clinton, passed away at 1:13 p.m. on November 17, 2021, at his family residence, Clinton.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Jim Kilson and Chaplain Ellen Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 10–11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the Clinton Community YMCA.
Paul was born on March 2, 1937, in Creston, Ill., the son of John and Vera (Riddell) Fabris. He married Carol Ann Meteer on August 27, 1961. She passed away on January 18, 2013.
Survivors include his children, Donald E. (Julie) Fabris, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; Larry L. (Regina) Fabris, Clinton; four grandchildren, Isaac and Sarah Fabris, Clinton; and Logan and Lauren Fabris, Fond du Lac, Wis.; brother, Robert (Betsy) Fabris, La Moille, Ill.; and half-sister, Susie Davidson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John; and one half-brother, Wendell Davidson.
Paul was a graduate of Jacksonville Illinois School for the Deaf. He worked at the Clinton Daily Journal from 1981 until 2000. He enjoyed woodworking.
