CLINTON — Phyllis Elaine Green, 88, of Clinton, passed away at 10 p.m. on January 23, 2019, at Warner Hospital and Health Services, Clinton.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019, at the First Christian Church, Clinton, with Cody Monkman officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, January 25, 2019, at the First Christian Church, Clinton.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church, Clinton, or the Warner Hospital and Health Services Foundation.

Phyllis was born on October 2, 1930, in Cooksville, Ill., the daughter of Ivan and Edna (Wagnest) Littrell. She married Carl William “Bill” Green on June 20, 1954, in Cooksville, Ill. He passed away on October 13, 1997.

Survivors include her children, David (Tammie) Green, Clinton; Kenneth Green, Tuscarora, M.D.; Joseph (Danielle) Green, Westminster, M.D.; nine grandchildre,  Amanda (Brandon) Pitt, Cortney (Dan) Wrathburn, Ashley Green (Jackie Howard), Lydia Owens, Ally (Colby) Patelski, Carly Green, Emma Green, Samantha Green, and Calden Green; seven great-grandchildren; sisters: Kathy (Randy) Sumrall, Bloomington, Ill. and Marge Brucker, Bradley, Ill.; and brother, Richard “Dick” (Jackie) Littrell, Winter Haven, Fla.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters: Mary Harpeneau and Linda Bates.

Phyllis worked for the Warner Hospital and Health Services, Clinton, as Director of Nursing and retired as a Registered Nurse after nearly 50 years of service.  

She was a past board member of the Hospital Foundation and the Hospital Auxiliary Board. Phyllis was a member of First Christian Church, Clinton. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, serving as the Worthy Matron and Treasurer. Phyllis volunteered at the DeWitt County Blood Bank.
