CLINTON — At 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 11, Dr. Ilia Radoslavov, Head of the Keyboard Department at Illinois Wesleyan University will present a solo piano recital of the music of Ludwig van Beethoven.
Dr. Radoslavov has performed across the United States, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Serbia, and South Africa including performances at Carnegie Hall, the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, Bulgaria, and the Illinois Chamber Music Festival. His performances have been broadcast on radio and TV in the US and abroad.
On Wednesday, November 14, at 7 p.m., Duo Steiner-Hochwartner will present a concert of music for solo trombone and organ/piano. The duo includes Peter Steiner, trombone and Constanze Hochwartner, organ/piano.
At age 23 in 2016, Peter Steiner was appointed trombonist with the Vienna Philharmonic and the Vienna State Opera. He has performed with some of the major orchestras across the globe and at the premier music schools in the US including Eastman, Ithaca, Northwestern, IU, and Yale. His fiancé, Constanze Hochwartner, will accompany him on the church’s historic Hook-Hastings pipe organ.
