CLINTON — Rebecca Sue “Becki” Farris, 62, of Clinton, passed away at 3:49 p.m. on December 1, 2022, at the Warner Hospital and Health Services, Clinton.
A celebration of Becki’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the First Baptist Church, Clinton, with Pastor John Roberson officiating. Visitation will be held from 5– 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton

Becki was born on February 9, 1960, in Decatur, the daughter of Elmer “Squeak” and Dorothy Joan (Cunningham) Taylor, Jr. She married Thomas L. Farris on May 12, 1979, in Clinton.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Joan Taylor, Weldon; husband, Thomas L. Farris, Clinton; daughter, Rachel (Patrick) Costello, Clinton; grandson, Mason Costello, Clinton; brother, Steven Douglas (Sheila) Taylor, Fulton, Miss.; niece, Ashley (Dillon) Barnard, Clinton; and nephew, Joshua (Hannah) Taylor, Winslow, Ark.
Becki was preceded in death by her father.
Becki retired as a Sgt. Deputy Sheriff with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, in Orlando, Fla. She was the owner and co-owner, operator of three small businesses in Clinton, throughout the years. Above all, Becki was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and grandmother. She had a giving spirit and never met a challenge she couldn’t overcome. She is loved and will be deeply missed.
