CLINTON — The Central Illinois Revolution finished June and started July at home.
They first faced the Central Illinois Stars to end June. The Revolution struck in the first inning with a run when Logan Petersen singled. The Stars were able to score in the top of the third to tie the game for a few minutes.
In the bottom of the inning the Revolution bounced back into the lead when Dominic Graves drew a walk forcing in the lead run. Then in the fourth inning, the Revolution added their insurance run to take a 3-1 lead and eventual win.
Logan Wills went all seven innings for the Revolution and the win. Logan allowed one run on seven hits, struck out 6 and walked none. Colby Arseneau and Ryan Yeakley led the Revolution with 1 for 2 hitting.
Next was the start of a new month and a match-up with the Roanoke-Benson team.
