Rick was an avid boater and dedicated father who enjoyed spending time with his friends, family and children. His priorities in life were to work hard, live life to its fullest and enjoy every moment. In his spare time Rick could be found at the lake and was always up for an adventure. He loved his children more than anything and showed them that every single day. A friend you could count on and a spouse that went above and beyond for his family. Rick was employed as a journeyman concrete mason with OPCMIA Local #18,Bloomington as well as holding his HVAC/MAR through Midwest Technical Institute. Although no affiliation with a church, he was a member of the Green Acres Campground family and found himself closest to God while on the water.
Per Rick’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the United Church of Heyworth. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice. East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.
