CLINTON — Robert A. “Bob” Meyer, 77, of Clinton, passed away at 2:40 p.m. on July 3, 2018, at his residence, in Clinton.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on July 9, at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton, with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Military rites will follow. There will not be a visitation. Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be directed to Boys Town, 14100 Crawford Street, Boys Town, N.E. 68010.
Bob was born on February 14, 1941, in Witt, Ill., the son of Arthur and Rita (Warnsing) Meyer.
Survivors include his brother, Thomas (Sue) Meyer, Little Rock, Ark,; and sisters-in-law, Nancy Meyer, Nokomis, Ill., and Jean Meyer, Hillsboro, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Earl and Bill.
Bob retired from the City of Clinton after many years of service. He served his country in the U.S. Army.
