KENNEY — Robert E. Mix, 61, of Kenney, passed away at 8:36 a.m. on January 14, 2022, at the Warner Hospital and Health Services, Clinton.
A celebration of life service will be at a later date. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with cremation rites.
Memorials may be directed to the Robert Mix memorial fund c/o Sandy Mix.
Robert was born on November 29, 1960, in Clinton, the son of Roger Mix and Ruthann Grothwohl. He married Sandy Morris on February 15, 1987, in Hallsville.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Mix, Kenney; children, Stefani (Tracy Almazar) Mix, Kenney; Kristi (Edgar Velazquez) Mix, Kenney; mother, Ruthann (Jim) Fry, Kenney; father, Roger Mix, Clinton; three grandchildren, Khloe, London, and Jaxson; siblings, Roger Lee Mix, Rhonda Campbell, and David Mix; along with nephews, R.C. (Becky) Campbell and Brett (Shannon) Mix.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Mix, nephew, Bobby Mix, along with many close friends.
Robert was a long-time carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and having a margarita. He loved his family but especially spending time with his grandchildren.
