CLINTON — A Bellevue, Neb.-based coffee franchise has obtained a building permit to raze the former Clinton Pizza Hut building to make room for a drive-through coffee and food franchise.
Scooter’s Coffee also has plans for stores in Decatur, Springfield and Taylorville. Scooter’s has locations throughout Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Wisconsin and Arkansas, with other locations in Florida, Utah and Arizona.
Also, the O’Reilly auto parts chain has filed a preliminary site plan with the City of Clinton. The proposed store would be located along W. Van Buren Street in the vicinity of the planned Scooters.
