We noticed a flat tire when we walked out of Dollar Tree. Since we were conveniently located to Circle K, we pulled up to get air. BUT the Air Pump was out of order.
Lo and behold, a gentleman stopped to assist. He took off the flat tire; installed the “donut”; and then pumped up the “donut” with a compressor that was working.
His name – Mike Walker, Dewitt County Sheriff. We want everyone to know how special it was to have this gentleman stop to give us a hand. We are most grateful to have a Sheriff who works off duty to assist those in need.
