CLINTON — Stacy Marie Schaefer, 49, of Clinton, passed away at 6:45 a.m. on February 15, 2020 at her family residence, Clinton.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, February 24, 2020, at the Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Rev. Jeff DeLaughter officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 10–11 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the Stacy Marie Schaefer memorial fund.
Stacy was born on October 24, 1970, in Urbana, Ill., the daughter of James A. and Pamela (Veach) Schaefer.
Survivors include her father, James A. Schaefer, Monticello, Ill.; fiancé, Alvin Smith, Clinton; children; Elizabeth (Sabrina) Ingram, Granville, Ill.; Brittney Cox, Decatur; Davey Cox, Clinton; Ashley Cox, Clinton; Skylar (Nicole) Schaefer, Clinton; and Kelsey (Reinaldo) Baez, Tennessee Ridge, Tenn.; five step-children; 22 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and one brother, Matthew Schaefer, Decatur.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Pamela Veach-Kinder, granddaughter, Destiny Cox, and niece, Danielle Schaefer.
Stacy enjoyed reading, music, and watching the Golden Girls and Frazier. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
