CLINTON — The Summer Lunch Program has kicked off at Webster Apartments Community Room 700 N. Cain, Clinton.

A free, nutritious lunch will be served to any child 18 years of age or younger (ages 3-5 requires adult supervision) from now until July 13. The program is from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. with lunch served at noon and activities also planned for each day.

Free transportation through Show Bus is available by calling 1-800-525-2454 one day in advance.

The Summer Lunch Program is a collaboration of The Write Stuff for Kids and the DeWitt County Housing Authority.

The program is funded through local donations and a grant through the Illinois Prairie Community Foundation.
