FARMER CITY — A dispute between two 17-year-old juveniles in Farmer City resulted in one juvenile shooting the other.
The shooting occurred on the street at 2:55 p.m. on Wednesday in the 300 block of W. Green Street, Farmer City. The suspect is in police custody, and the victim was being treated at Carle Hospital, Urbana.
Farmer City Police, the DeWitt County Sheriff's Office and Illinois State Police Crime Scene Services are investigating the incident. Police ask any witnesses to the shooting to call the Farmer City Police Department at (309) 928-2111.
