CLINTON — Tamala “Tami” Ballenger, 62, of Clinton, passed away at 1:22 a.m. on May 31, 2018, at Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, Ill.
Private graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, June 5, with J.Kent Hickerson officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Tami was born on February 25, 1956, in Bloomington, Ill., the daughter of Calvin and Donelda “Donnie” (Haycraft) Karr. She married Bob Ballenger on May 2, 1981, in Wapella.
Survivors include her mother, Donelda “Donnie” Karr, Clinton; husband, Bob Ballenger, Clinton; children, Staci Ballenger, Clinton; Chad Ballenger, Clinton; grandchildren, Mackena and Jacob, Clinton; siblings Darla (David) Nelson, Clinton, and Shelly (Brad) Kemp, Bloomington, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Tami worked at Ameren Illinois, Decatur, for 25 years.
