KENNEY — Teresa K. Short, 59, of Kenney, passed away at 9:07 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at Carle BroMenn Medical Center, Normal.

A celebration of Teresa’s life will be held at a later date.  Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, assisted the family with cremation rites.

Memorials may be directed to the Teresa Short memorial fund.

Teresa was born on April 18, 1963, in Clinton, the daughter of Patsy (Clary) Barclay. She married Curt Short pn August 16, 1989, in Lane.

Survivors include her husband, Curt Short, Kenney;  children,  Krystal Workman, Maroa, and KayLynn Rybolt, Kenney; four grandchildren, Cadence Rybolt, Landon Rybolt, Trey Buggar, and Harlee Buggar; siblings, Jerry (Kim) Turner, Braidwood, Ill.; Karen (Rick) Campbell, Decatur, Ill.; Danny Barclay, Kenny; and Bobbi (Rod) Morse, Kenney.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Teresa was known as a “jack-of-all-trades.” She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, but she especially loved being with her grandchildren.
