It has been a busy year for The Write Stuff for Kids, Inc., as we continue our work to make sure students have the supplies they need for a successful school year.
We were proud to recently provide funding for six Clinton High School students to complete the CDL permit class through a partnership with Richland Community College and the Clinton School District.
In August, we delivered supplies and backpacks to more than 400 students during our 15th annual distribution. We also make supplies available through the school year for teachers who bring them to students in the classrooms.
We have expanded our reach to students in the Farmer City School District (Blue Ridge) through a partnership with their volunteers.
We continue our longstanding relationship with the Angel Tree / Samaritan Room, a group that provides shoes to each child who receives our supplies.
We look forward to our plans this year to consider new ways we might be able to help students.
All of this work would not be possible without the support of generous donors. Individuals, organizations, churches and businesses have been strong sources of support since we started this endeavor.
We thank you for your tax-deductible donations to help us keep our commitment to the children of DeWitt County and their families.
Sincerely,
Tina Baxter
