The Buttered Bun Bakery opened for business at 115 West Main Street in Maroa on Saturday, August 19. Owner Lauren Johnson has fresh baked bakery items available and she also offers a lunch menu. Attending the ribbon cutting were Maroa City Council members Erick Peart and Monica Estep, Mayor Aaron Meadow, Lauren’s father Gary Thompson, children Kendall and Collins, Lauren’s husband Andrew and children Maci and Max Johnson.
