MAROA — Tom and Mary Mayberry, of Maroa, will celebrate their 60 years of marriage with a family dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
Thomas James Mayberry and Mary Louella (Behymer) Mayberry were married on November 23, 1957, in Decatur, Ill. Tom is retired from the Norfolk & Southern Railroad after 41 years as a switchman. Mary is retired from Housekeeping at Decatur Memorial Hospital.
The Mayberrys have four children, Patricia and Karen Mayberry, of Maroa, and Tom Mayberry, Jr., and Stan Mayberry, both of Decatur.
They have 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, one great-great- granddaughter and another great-great grandchild due in May 2018. They also have several step-grandchildren.
Last year, three generations of granddaughters were born to Tom and Mary within six months.
The Mayberrys also have three sets of grandchildren who share the same birthday.
