CLINTON — Vicky Lynn Buchanan, 62, of Clinton, passed away 4:01 a.m. on June 19, 2023, at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.

No services are planned at this time. The family has entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with cremation rites.

Vicky was born on November 3, 1960, in Clinton, the daughter of Earl and Carol (Burris) Buchanan. She married Gary Scott on October 21, 1989, in Clinton.

Survivors include her children, Jason (Joyel) North, Wapella; Audrie North, Shorewood, Ill.; Andrea North, Clinton; Stephanie Phillips, Clinton; and Kendall (James) Brewer, Lane, grandchildren, Haidyn North; Kylie North; Alyvia North; Kaylee Ford; Kenzy Ford; Konnar Bush; Hailey Johnson; Alyson Johnson; Savannah Phillips; Landen Phillips; Zeke Rose; Isaiah Rose; and Finley Brewer, three great-grandchildren, siblings, David (Linda) Buchanan, Clinton, and Adele (Steve) Linchner, Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Steve, Buddy, and Jim Buchanan.

Vicky was a very loving mother and grandmother who always put her family first.
