CLINTON — Dick and Ruth Vogel, of Clinton, will mark their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. They will celebrate with a family trip at a later date.
Vogel and Ruth Burk were married on August 29, 1970 at the First Christian Church, in Clinton. Their attendants were Sheila (Newman) Campbell and Tim Carlson.
They are the parents of Brian Vogel, of Tampa, Fla., and Angela (Paul) Reid, of Clinton. They have three grandchildren, Allison Vogel, of Mackinaw, Ill., and Blake Followell and Tinley Reid, of Clinton, and two step-grandchildren, Tyler and Jaxon.
He is retired owner of The Clinton Bowl and works part time at the IRS distribution center, Bloomington. She is a real estate broker and office manager for RE/MAX Choice, in Clinton. Both are active volunteer members of the American Red Cross.
