Clinton Police Department
Arrests
On Nov. 4, Clinton Police arrested Joshua R. Stephenson, 30, Decatur, on a Piatt County warrant. Stephenson was transported to the DeWitt County jail and turned over to corrections personnel for processing.
On Nov. 4. Clinton Police arrested Juan F. Soto, 32, Clinton, for the offense of battery. Soto was transported to the DeWitt County jail and turned over to corrections for processing.
On Nov. 6, Clinton Police arrested Debra I. Maus, 67, Chestnut, for retail theft. Maus was transported to the DeWitt County jail and turned over to corrections personnel for processing and issued a notice to appear in court.
On Nov. 7, Clinton Police arrested Matthew E. Beadles, 42, Clinton, for a DeWitt County arrest warrant and for possession of <5 grams of methamphetamine. Beadles was transported to the DeWitt County jail and turned over to corrections personnel for processing.
All suspects are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
