CLINTON — Wilma M. Buraglio, 95, of Clinton, passed away at 4:10 p.m. on August 13, 2021, at Warner Hospital and Health Services, Clinton.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at St. John’s Catholic Church, Clinton, with the Rev. Fr. James Henning, celebrant. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 9:30–11 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Memorials may be directed to St. John’s Catholic Church, 502 N. Monroe St., Clinton, IL 61727.
Wilma was born on May 20, 1926, in Clinton, the daughter of Henry and Nina (Linderman) Matthews. She married Sero Felix “Sonny” Buraglio on May 20, 1943, in Rantoul, Ill. He passed away on April 11, 1997.
Survivors include her children, Victor (Bonnie) Buraglio, Champaign, Ill.; Dennis (Jean) Buraglio, Clinton; and Susie Alexander, Clinton; seven grandsons: Mark Buraglio; Jeff (Kim) Buraglio; Nick (Rebecca) Buraglio; Tony (Nicole) Buraglio; Michael (Ela) Buraglio; Brian Alexander; and Justin (Tori) Alexander; five great-grandsons; and three great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Steven Buraglio; two brothers and eight sisters; and grandson, Christopher A. Buraglio.
Wilma worked at Suds Center Laundromat, in Clinton. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
