Rapid response workshops are designed to explain benefits and services available that can assist laid-off employees with their job search.  The Rapid Response team has many year experience in offering the coordinated services to laid-off workers.

Employees displaced by the Clinton Walmart closure can apply on-site for unemployment benefits.  Workshops also include access to money for tuition, books and fees to pursue educational training, learn more about insurance and more.

The Clinton Rapid Response workshop will be held from 9-11 a.m. on July 30 at the Richland Community College Education Center, 140 Sunrise Court, Clinton.

Contact Karen Allen at (217) 875-8281 for more information.

The workshop is presented by Workforce Investment Solutions, the Illinois Department of Employment Security, the Illinois Department of Commerce and Illinois Comp Health Insurance.
