Assembly of God 

We welcome you to worship with us this Sunday.

Life Groups meet at 9:30 a.m. with Bible learning classes for everyone.

Morning service at 10:30 a.m. begins with worship, led by Dianne Ramay.  Pastor Nick Blacklidge will bring the message from God’s Word.

Choir practice convenes at 5 p.m.

Evening service at 6 p.m. concludes our Sunday and Pastor Nick will bring the message to the adults.  Caleb Bell will lead the Relentless youth in their chapel.

Tuesday at 6 p.m. is a special ladies’ Christmas tea hosted by our pastor’s wife, Jenessa.  This event is for all lades and will be held in their home at 100 Jemima Lane.

Wednesday at 7 p.m. we have the adults in the sanctuary and the children’s J.U.M.P. program in the gym.

Saturday at 6 p.m. Pastor Nick and Jenessa will entertain the staff, deacon board and elders in their home.

Clinton Presbyterian Church

Please consider joining us this Sunday morning.  Our worship service will begin at 10:30 a.m., and we have refreshments and fellowship following the worship service.  

This week Pastor Paul Stroup will be in the pulpit. His sermon will be “God is With Us - The Highway of Hope,” an the kid’s cantata “All Because of a Baby.”

Junior Church is provided for children 1st grade and up during worship service.  They enjoy their own sermon, activity, songs, and fellowship.

First Christian Church

On Sunday, December 2, FCC will conclude a two-week sermon series on stewardship. This Sunday, Greg Taylor will share a message titled, “Don’t Be A Fool.” 

Each Sunday, FCC offers two worship services. We have a traditional worship service at 8:15 a.m. and a contemporary worship service at 10:45 a.m. We also have Bible school classes for all ages throughout the FCC building at 9:30 a.m. 

First Kids youth group (3yrs old - 5th grade) meets on Wednesday nights at 6 p.m. in the First Kids area of our building. Underground Student Ministry meets on Sunday nights with

Junior high students meeting is from 5 p.m. - 6:45 p.m. and high school students meeting is from 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Young at Heart, a ministry for those 55 and over, will have its next gathering on Friday, December 7 at 10:30 a.m. Any questions, please contact the church office at (217) 935-3139.

Waynesville United Methodist Church

The church will present “A Village Christmas Program” at 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 2, in the church sanctuary.

The program will include our Christmas choir of singers from eight area churches, a short skit and special Christmas songs sung by Terry Gaddis and Janice Nevius.  The choir is directed by Connie Harris.

Refreshments will follow the program.
