CLINTON — The council voted to approve an application process for short-term rental units, or BNBs.
“I had some apprehension about this initially,” said commissioner and acting mayor Tom Edmunds. “But, I’ve been assured that single family-zoned areas are still going to be single family. They can’t have a multitude of families in a single family-zoned residence.”
Edmunds said he was satisfied with that arrangement.
“As long as that’s how it operates, I don’t have a problem with it,” he said.
Development of the application involved several areas of the city government including help from Dana Korneman, of the city planning commission, city administrator Taylor Baxter and city attorney John Hoblit.
