CLINTON — Boys’ and girls’ track teams will move advance to Sectionals. The boys finished 7th overall and the girls finished 2nd overall, which is at least the highest finish for the girls since 1994.
On the girls side:
Lexi was the 4th overall finisher in a new lifetime best 19:23 (last week was 19:42). This time is the 2nd fastest in Clinton’s history.
Clare was the 5th overall finisher in a new lifetime best 19:47 (last week she ran 20:15, her previous lifetime best was 20:06), this makes her the 8th girl in Clinton’s history to break 20 minutes and puts her #6 all time. Plus you should have seen her textbook sprint form through the finish.
