CLINTON — DeWitt County continues toward filling the zoning administrator position and for assistant's job.  The county board’s land use committee met on Nov. 20 to conduct interviews of applicants for the assistant position.

During the committee’s October meeting, members discussed ways to reorganize the position.  Committee members also considered a salary level based on discussions that took place in the county board’s finance committee.

At its Nov. 12 meeting, county administrative assistant and interim zoning administrator Dee Dee Rentmeister reported the Farmer City Council approved its assumption of zoning responsibilities there.
