Electronic recycling day in Clinton June 28

CLINTON — The City of Clinton will sponsor an electronics recycling day from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 28 at 101 E. Washington Street.

Televisions, microwave ovens, large appliances and other electronic items will be accepted for disposal.  A charge of $20 for TVs and large appliances will apply, with a $5 charge for microwaves and exercise equipment.

Cell phones, laptop computers, monitors, printers, back-up batteries, hard drives, cables and game systems are also among the items that will  be accepted.

Participants are not required to be Clinton residents.
