CLINTON — Mary Kay Moore, 74, of Clinton, passed away at 7:55 p.m. on December 10, 2024, at Manor Court, Clinton. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024, at Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with Pastor Scott Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery, Clinton. Visitation will be held from 1–2 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to Clinton First Christian Church. Mary Kay was born on February 23, 1950, in Clinton, the daughter of Roy Joseph and Harriett (Arnold) Reeves. She married Charles “Chuck” Moore on January 17, 1970, in Clinton,. Survivors include her husband, Charles “Chuck” Moore, Clinton; children, Tony (Cindy) Moore, Clinton, and Jenny Thayer (Steve Potter), Bloomington; grandchildren, Zachary Moore, Batavia, Ill., and Avery Moore, Seattle, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sidney Beck. Mary Kay worked at The John Warner Bank and 33 years and as a library aide at the Clinton Schools. She was a member of the Clinton First Christian Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher and helped in the nursery. Most days she enjoyed walking 3–4 miles. She loved spending time in Florida, going to the beach, along with cooking and baking. |
