CLINTON — DeWitt County Coroner Randall J. Rice and the Illinois State Police are investigating a fatality involving a pedestrian and semi. Jared J. Kelch 26 of Bloomington, was walking westbound on I-74 when he was struck by a semi also westbound near mile marker 155 and Old Principal Rd., Farmer City, Ill. Kelch was pronounced dead at 4:25 a.m. at the scene.
