CLINTON — DeWitt County real estate tax bills will be mailed by June 9. The first installment is due July 11, and the second installment is due September 5.
Those who have not received their tax bill by June 23 should contact the DeWitt County Treasurer’s office at 217-935-7820. Failure of a taxpayer to receive a tax bill does not relieve them of their tax liability.
If a mailing address has been changed, call the Supervisor of Assessments office at 217-935-7800. Any questions on assessments or exemptions should be directed to the Supervisor of Assessments office.
Tax payments may be made:
• at any banking institution in DeWitt County
• at the DeWitt County Courthouse 201 W Washington, Clinton (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.Mon-Fri)
• in the drop box at the Northwest end of the Courthouse parking lot
• mailed to PO Box 439, Clinton, IL 61727
The payment coupon attached to the bottom of the tax bill must accompany the payment.
